Filtration System
All spas have something in common: they recirculate, heat, and filter water. But various spa brands do this in slightly different ways, primarily dependant upon the type of filtration system used.
The majority of spas have suction filter systems, which are always top mounted for easy cartridge access. These come in two basic varieties. Pictured below is a floating Weir which automatically telescopes to the spa's surface water level to skim impurities. The Weir unscrews to expose the filter cartridge inside. The other variety of suction filter incorporates a skimmer basket, which houses one or more drop-in or screw-in (threaded) cartridges.

Our filtration system can provide excellent water filtration with floating Weirs which have superior surface skimming. Water is basically taken from the surface, pumped through the circulation pump and heater, and returned to the spa via a network of plumbing tubes connected to the jets.
Ozonator
Ozone is by far the most reliable sanitation system offered for spas. It plays an important role in spa chemistry.

An ozonator is an additional aid in maintaining pure sparkling water. Air is drawn through the ozonator which converts some of the oxygen (O2) into ozone (O3) which oxidises any bacteria or contaminate that it contacts. The result is fantastic water quality and reduced chemical use as the sanitizer is free to deal with any new contaminate that may enter the spa water. On our spas with a dedicated 24 hour circulation pump a steady stream of bubbles can usually be seen entering the spa, this is where the ozone is introduced. For bather comfort on our spas, no ozone is added to this stream of bubble when the spa is actually in use.
Bottom Of The Spa
We have two style bottoms in our spa, PVC plastic(standard feature) & Fiberglass. Our customers of course get the benefit from such stronger, long-lasting spa with these two bottoms. Our fiberglass bottom is formed around the bottom of the cabinetry, and serves the purposes of added structural integrity, increased insulation from the elements, and protection from rodents and insects entering/tampering with the spa interior.
